SUMMER FLOAT™ FAQ
What is the Summer Float™ Floatsuit?
The Summer Float™ Floatsuit is a children’s swimsuit with integrated buoyancy inserts positioned around the torso.
It is designed to provide comfortable support and help children practise early water skills under constant adult supervision.
Is the Summer Float™ Floatsuit a replacement for a life jacket?
No. The Summer Float™ Floatsuit is not a life-saving device and is not a replacement for a certified life jacket.
Children must remain within arm’s reach and under constant, responsible adult supervision whenever they are in or around water.
What age is the Summer Float™ Floatsuit suitable for?
Please choose the size according to your child’s height, weight and chest measurement rather than age alone.
Refer to the product size chart before ordering to ensure a comfortable and close-fitting fit.
Can the buoyancy inserts be adjusted?
Yes. The buoyancy inserts are removable, allowing the level of support to be adjusted as your child’s confidence and water skills develop.
Always make adjustments gradually and test the fit in shallow water under close adult supervision.
How should the floatsuit fit?
The floatsuit should fit comfortably close to the body without being overly tight or restricting movement.
Check that the zipper is fully secured and that the suit remains properly positioned during active water play.
Does my child still need adult supervision?
Yes. Constant adult supervision is required at all times.
The Summer Float™ Floatsuit provides buoyancy support only and does not protect against drowning.
How do I wash and care for the floatsuit?
Rinse the floatsuit with clean, cool water after each use. Hand wash gently using mild detergent and allow it to air dry away from direct heat.
Do not bleach, tumble dry or iron the buoyancy inserts.
Can it be used in pools, at the beach or in open water?
It may be used during supervised water play, but water conditions must always be assessed carefully.
A certified life jacket should be used whenever required by local regulations or when boating, visiting open water or entering unfamiliar swimming environments.
